1x Starting deck: A sealed Champion Deck, such as one featuring Jinx, Viktor, or Lee Sin.

2x Booster packs: Each player receives one or two booster packs, typically included with the event entry fee.

Modification: Players open their booster packs and use the new cards, along with the contents of the Champion Deck, to build their tournament deck.

Deck construction rule
Palyers Will Have 30 Mins to prepare Round 1 will be posted at 12h30
After opening the additional cards, players must build a deck that adheres to standard Riftbound rules:
    • Main deck: Must contain exactly 40 cards, including a Chosen Champion.
    • Champion legend: The deck is built around the Champion Legend included in the preconstructed deck. This legend determines the allowed domains (colors) for all cards in your main and rune decks. For example, a Jinx Legend allows only Fury (red) and Chaos (purple) cards.
    • Chosen Champion: You must have a Champion Unit card in your deck that matches your Legend. This unit starts the game in the Champion Zone.
  • Battlefields: The deck must contain exactly 3 distinct Battlefield cards.
  • Rune deck: Must contain exactly 12 Rune cards that correspond to your Legend’s domains.
  • Card limits: With the exception of certain signature cards, you can have no more than three copies of any named card across your main and rune decks.

Gameplay and competition
  • Match structure: The tournament follows a Swiss format, with players facing opponents for a set number of rounds. Matches are typically played best-of-three.
  • No sideboard: Unlike competitive Constructed format events, a Modified Champion Deck event does not use a sideboard.
  • Match modifications: In a best-of-three match, you may not change your Legend or Battlefields between games, but you may choose to switch your Chosen Champion to another unit in your main deck.
  • Scoring: The goal is to be the first to reach 8 points by conquering and holding battlefields.
